2023 HUGS International Fellowship for Graduate Students in Developing Countries (Call closed)
We are proud to announce the 2023 HUGS International Fellowship for Graduate Students in Developing Countries supported by the JSA Initiatives Fund Program and US Department of Energy. This is the 6th edition of this program and under this fellowship we will be able to support the participation of up to two graduate students from developing countries who are well into their PhD dissertation research project to the 2023 Hampton University Graduate Summer (HUGS) program.
HUGS 2023 is a summer school designed for experimental and theoretical nuclear and particle physics graduate students who have finished their coursework and have at least one year of research experience in these fields. The fellowship will fully cover travel expenses (including international airfare), room, and board. An additional visit of 2 or 3 weeks to Jefferson Lab may be possible, depending on funding, to meet with the laboratory researchers and users, and to initiate or strengthen a research collaboration. This visit will be discussed with the selected candidates, and is subject to availability of funds. For more information on Jefferson Lab research program please visit www.jlab.org/.
